| 23 June 2009, Message from Malcolm Elrick, United Kingdom I thought I would start by talking about the whole experience which started from the pick from a cockney and a brummie(sorry Chris) more like dick and Dom. The other person who was joining us was a river bailiff on the Trent who was on holiday. I cannot name him for reasons later. The drive through the mountains was an experience in itself and I could not appreciate the beauty that was surrounding me or the fantastic views again you need to read this for the explanation at the end. when we got to the lake which nests in a hollow of the montain range well you can only imagine the dramatic sense of everthing that nature has to offer the quietness and the feeling of being the only ones on the planet. Keith and Chris set up the tackle four lines baited and the boat carrying the lurs. We tossed a coin and I had first honour. Within the first hour I was on to my first fish and remembering everything Keith told me and with my hieghtened sense of feel(wait for the explanation) I landed my first fish a 22lb mirrior carp. What an experience. The other guest then landed a 19lb carp. I then followed in with a 24.7lb. After that we both had a bites almost at the same time he landed a 15lb carp and I landed a 26.8lb. From there on unfortunately for the guest it went down hill. He lost the next fish, had the bite after that and lost it, I then followed in with a 28.6lb carp then he lost the nexst one and the final bite of the day he lost that one. I turned in over a hundred pound in four fish to his thirty four. This is not my first sport love that is golf and I am currently the national blind yes I mean the current national blind golf champion of England. I have not fished for years and only dabbled then with the aid of my sons and a minocular. So this was a real challenge for Kieth and Chris who have never fished with a blind person before. All the credit goes to you guys for one of the best days I have ever enjoyed and although I have sea fished in gran canaria this is an ecperience that will stay with me for a long time and maybe I just think about it for the future. To the other guest hard luck mate and if you ever fancy a game of golf let me know or maybe you might invite me to your neck of the woods |

After an hour with Keith showing us the setups, no float to watch, no tip bending, had a sandwich and drink then bloody hell - it was like screaming reels!! 1'st fish 30 lbs. 3 times my previous best. It was like draging a small donkey in, but better looking. Did a lap of honour!! Cought another 25pounder, wife caught 22.5 & 21. What a lovely afternoon.. |

| 15 May 2008, Message from Trees, Fred en Han , Netherlands After 2 days of no catch and a quick lesson from Keith our carpsession turned into a nice fishingtrip. The first from Han was 33 pnd, later Trees with 29,5 pnd and Fred with 18 pnd. The following days were great, with even more nice carps. Also some lost. There is a big change that we will come back next year. Thanks Keith for everything. |

Heerlijk eiland, mooi strand, prachtig weer maar na een week op het strand liggen ga je de karpers wel missen. Ik zag een flyer van een karpersessie. Nou dat moest natuurlijk gebeuren. Alles was inclusief; hengels, aas, vervoer van hotel naar visstek en terug etc. Nou ik heb een onvergetelijke dag gehad. Veel dank aan de visgidsen want een karper van 25 pond was eht eindresultaat.
